WHAT IS THE COST OF YOUR BRITISH SHORTHAIR (BSH) KITTENS?
Our beautiful kittens are $2500-3500 and there is a range depending on color. If you decide to buy two as siblings, we offer a sibling discount of $600. This will include their prenatal and post natal care, 1st immunizations, deworming, & TICA paperwork, and in some cases neutered and spayed. Your sweet kitten will be well socialized and ready to join your family. We require a $500 deposit to join our waitlist and reserve your kitten. The deposit is non refundable unless we cannot supply a kitten to you within a years time.
We are not opposed to selling breeding rights, although it is rare.
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO GET MY KITTEN FROM B.O.W.'S CATTERY?
We allow our kittens to leave for their new homes around 10-13 weeks old (depending on the circumstances). The longer a kitten is with its mom and siblings, the better socialized it will be long term.
WOULD MY KITTEN NEED TO BE INDOOR ONLY?
Yes we do recommend that that your new kitten live indoors throughout its life to ensure its safety. We do take our cats outside occasionally, but only in our fenced yard, monitored, or with a harness and leash. When you invest in a British Shorthair kitten (that you will undoubtedly fall in love with) it will break your heart if it gets hit by a car or if a well meaning neighbor starts to feed it or take it in. Most BSH kittens live indoors with their owners and because they are a very relaxed breed, they are content to be inside.
WILL MY KITTEN KNOW HOW TO USE A LITTER BOX YET?
Yes, your kitten will already be trained to use a litter box. In their time with mama, they learn all about eating, cleaning themselves, using the litter box, and scratch post. For additional information on what our kittens will learn from their time with mom, click HERE.
IS SHIPPING AVAILABLE?
If you are not local or within driving distance to Bozeman, MT, we can discuss delivering your kitten via a flight nanny, at an additional cost to you. This can range from $400-650+.
If you are living in the state of Montana, we are willing to drive up to two hours in any direction to meet you.
WILL I GET TO PICK MY KITTEN OUT OF THE LITTER?
Picking out your kitten will depend on the order in which you are added to our list and also depend on the color of kitten you are desiring/what we have available.

British Shorthairs are one of the coolest breeds for a reason...their looks and personalities. There is so much love online for this breed and we encourage you to do your research. There are a ton of great breeders too. We will always be happy to answer your questions but do encourage you to learn about this specific breed. YOU NEED TO KNOW
Did you know British Shorthairs are known for getting along well with other pets & well behaved children? Did you know that they are known (along with Maine Coon cats) for being the most dog-like cat? These are only a few of the reasons we love this breed. One thing you NEED to know about our cattery is that we will always love our babies. Should you ever be a in place where you can no longer care for your kitten/adult cat, we require written notice/consent for the transfer of ownership/rehoming. In the event you cannot find a reliable home, we would aid you in finding a reliable home on your behalf. We want to assure that our kittens never end up in a shelter.
READY TO BUY?
So you've decided to become the proud owner of a British Shorthair? Welcome to the club of "British Shorthair lovers" (this is a real group on Facebook that you can join)! You can be sure this is the best cat related decision you will ever make! After we have chatted and you have decided to reserve one of our kittens, we will have you sign a contract (that we will sign too). After the contract is signed you will be required to send a non refundable deposit of $500 to reserve your kitten, via the Venmo app (or by check or cash if you are local). Should any unforeseen circumstance arise on our end with your reserved kitten, in that case we would fully refund your deposit. The legal contract and non-refundable deposit is to discourage flaky buyers. After receiving your signed contract/deposit, we will happily keep you updated with progress photos, answer any questions along the way, and designate a pick up date or travel accommodations. Lastly, the rest of your payment will be due in full on pick up day or 3 days prior to flight. We will also send you some information & links on how to best care for your new kitten.
